Hi,
My name is Joseph Bartz, and I live in Berlin in Germany.
I will help you to feel better. Much better.
I will teach you how to move properly. Something 99% of all adults in Western society are unable to do! Yes, I believe it’s that bad. Most adults are on the Autobahn of physical decline, and they go very fast. My work is changing that. Are you ready to reverse direction and start to grow again?
Our practice will change your life.
I will help you eliminate your pains, increase awareness and energy and be more connected to your surroundings.
That’s the beginning.
Afterward, I will coach you to become your strongest, most healthy, productive, skillful, and calm self.
And it doesn’t matter which age you are.
Furthermore, if you continue your journey with me for a few years of practicing as many of my students do, I will open your eyes to many practices that haven’t been on your radar but will tremendously enrich your life.
I have been teaching workshops on five continents and worked online and offline with thousands of students.
I have been teaching in 23 countries and working with students from 40 countries.
I have taught young full-time students practicing 30h per week and busy top performers like medical doctors working in the hospital while having two young children at home. I know the two ends of the spectrum.
My work is a go-to for many coaches, trainers, and therapists, and I have trained hundreds of them. Many of those have done my one-year-long teacher training, and they have taken their business to the next level.
I have been educated by some of the best teachers I could find.
I spend THOUSANDS of personal hours with the world-renown movement teacher Ido Portal. I have learned the art of the “Open Form” through Martin Kilvady, Dance Teacher extraordinaire.
And I learned how to live in the wild from Germany’s teacher of teachers: Uwe Belz.
I added my unique twist to everything and created the “Lebenspraxis,” a way of approaching life.
As the son of an actress and a composer and being left-handed creative expression is normal for me.
The thousands of followers of my work value my unique views and ideas.
While they often ask: How do you manage to be so productive, Joseph?
I am the father of two young children, whom I dearly love, and my everyday practice is to be a great father.
Because of that, I know how it is to be busy and have little free time available. This is why other parents value my services, as I know how to create highly effective programs to help everyone grow no matter how little time they have.
I am known to be a warm-hearted guy and a good listener.
But I am also a good accountability partner who will push you to take the next step forward when needed.
I built a fantastic community of PRACTITIONERS and am grateful for all the connections my work has created.
My work doesn’t exist isolated in the world but is the sum of many connections I have built.
I work in a team with a wonderful woman called Mariana Hilgert. Together we are the yin and yang of the practice.
Mariana is a dancer, creative, coach, and PhD in translation sciences.
Originally from Brazil, she is also living in Berlin, where we spend a lot of time together researching, creating, and teaching.
There is one phrase I repeat again and again:
Showing up is not enough.
I realized people are “Showing up” in all sorts of places, but nothing changes.
You need to have the right processes to guarantee changes and growth.
This is what I am offering to you.
Proper processes, proper implementation in your life, and proper feedback loops.
"I didn't learn nearly as much about movement in my physiotherapy training as I did with Joseph!"
Simon Wilhelm - Physiotherapist
"Joseph and Mariana's knowledge and embodiment of the practice are inspiring"
Simon Maurer - Psychologist
"Looking back, I can say that I got a lot more for my money during the training than I expected at the beginning."
Felix Kaul - Psychomotor Educator
