One thing I made recently is this stool. Just three boards and a rod. Simple. I used a circular saw to cut the boards, a screwdriver to drill the hole for the rod and my own energy and hand tools to make the dovetails and the finish. Dovetail ratio is 1:1 which is considered a bit rough I think. In the next project I went for a 2:1.
I like this stool to sit on and do nothing.
